<br />Estimates having been made by the Board of Commissioners of SEBASTIAN INLET DISTRICT
<br />for the ultimate redemption of bonds, notes, or other obligations outstanding, and to pay in-
<br />terest thereon, when due, and for general repairs and additional work to be done, and a certiw
<br />fied copy of the resolution filed with this Board, as required bylaw, and as hereby declared
<br />one and
<br />that a tax rate of/bie#6n4tv.6hti4tfijmills upon the dollar be levied, and is hereby fixed and
<br />assessed, for the year 1947, on all of the property in the County of Indian River, lying and
<br />being in the boundaries of said Sebastian Inlet District Eight-tehths (.8) mills of which
<br />shall be used solely for interest payments, when due, and to create a sinking fund for the
<br />ultimate redemption of Refunding Bonds of said District dated July 1st, 1936 and four#tenths
<br />(4/19) mills of which levy shall be used as a maintenance fund and for the purposes authorized
<br />and prescribed in the act creating said district namely Section 15 of Chapter 7976 of the Laws
<br />of Florida as amended by Chapter 12259 of the Laws of Florida.
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Tax Aasessor of Indian River County, Florida, be
<br />and he is hereby directed to assess and levy all the foregoing taxes as fixed and levied by i
<br />this Board upon the taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, just and due taxation
<br />within the respective boundaries upon which such taxes are levied; tha t'a certified copy of

<br />this resolution be furnished to the County assessor of Taxes.
<br />The motion for the adoption was duly seconded by Commissioner Helseth and unanimously

<br />Commissioner J. L. Helpling introduced the''following Resolution and moved its
<br />adoption to -wit: II
<br />WHEREAS, the respective boards and taxing districts being authorized to fix and levy
<br />taxes upon property situated within Indian River County, Florida, as provided by law, fixed
<br />such tax levies and have certified the same to this Board and this Board having considered the
<br />same and having then found them to be proper3 therefore be it resolved that;

<br />To meet the current expenses incidental and necessary to the operation -of the Public
<br />Schools of the County, and -to pay the salaries of teachers bus drivers and repair school housei
<br />and busses as estimated by the�County Board of Public Instruction, the sum of $359,660.69� , it�

<br />is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of -4.5 mills upon the dollar be levied,
<br />assessed and is hereby imposed upon all the property in the County of Indian River on the first J!
<br />day of January, 19470
<br />Estimates having been made by the Trustees of SPECIAL TAR SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1.
<br />and the Trustees having certified the rate of millage voted' -to be assessed it was, determined
<br />that a tax rate of -four (4) mills upon the dollar be levied, and is hereby fixed and assessed
<br />for the year_19479 on all - of the property taxable for such purposes as provided by law in the
<br />County of Indian River lying and being within the boundaries of tha said District No. 1, which
<br />boundaries are as follows,_to-wit: Beginning,at the Northeast corner of Sec. 3,. Tp. 31 S.,
<br />Range 39 E., then run west-alohe County line to N.W. corner of Tp. 31 S., Range38 F., thence
<br />South along Range.line to S;, W®Corner Sec.,18, Tp. 31 S., Range 38 E., thence East along
<br />Section line to Atlantic Ocean, thence North A ong Ocean beach to starting point.,
