Carter by Indian <br />River County has been and is exclusively as County Road Superintendent. <br />RES 2LUTI212 <br />Commissioner Helpling introduced the following.resolution and moved its adoption <br />las follows, to -wit: <br />RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County herewith re- <br />quests the State Road Department df Florida to,rescind work heretofore authorized on the <br />State Road numbered 512 in Indian River County and leading from Sebastian to Fellsmere and to <br />substitute~in lieu thereof necessary work upon the road leading from Fellsmeres Florida, via <br />Fellsmere Sugar Mill to State Road No. 60. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the State Road Department is h-.rewith requested to ac- <br />complish as much work as possible upon said road leading from Fellsmere via Fellsmere Sugar <br />to Road 60 within the year 1947. <br />Motion.for the adoption of the Resolution was duly made by Commissioner Helseth and <br />unanimously carried. <br />a i 2 LRTT 12 AT <br />Commissioner Helpling introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption <br />as follows, to -wit: <br />WHEREAS, the old Dixie Highway in Indian River Countys designated as State Road <br />No. 605, is in bad condition leading from Vero Beach South to Ft. Pierce; therefore! <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County that said <br />grade and level the paved surface of such dlsignate� po tion of <br />Board herewith requests that the State Road Department, as main enance, said road and place <br />the shoulders thereof in good condition and to the end that there shall be an increased degree <br />of safety for persons making use of such road. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certify copy of this Resolution be forwarded to Hon. <br />H. B. Ft.Lltz, Box 1311, Miami, Florida, as Member of the State Road Department from this <br />Districts and to Hon. Robert McClure, Secretary, State Road Department, Tallahassee, Florida. <br />Motion for the adoption of the Resolution was duly made by Commissioner Helseth aid <br />(unanimously carried. <br />
