a& 12 1 x 112 Al <br />Commissioner Glover introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption as follows, to -wit: <br />RESOLVED, That pursuant to the authority granted by Chapter 23746 of the laws of <br />Florida adopted by the State Legislature in the year 1947, the hours of sale of alcoholic <br />beverages within the territory of -Indian River County not included within, any municipality is <br />hereti:ith regulated and fixed as follows: <br />No intoxicating beverages may be sold, consumed or served, or permitted to be served <br />or consumed, in any place holding a license under the State Beverage Department of Florida <br />and within the above defined area of Indian River County between the hours of 1:00 A. M. <br />`and 7SOO A. M. of each week day and between the hours of 2:00 A. M. each Sunday and 7:00 A. M. <br />ii of the Monday next following. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provisions of this Resolution shall be effective <br />immediately upon its adoption. <br />Motion for the adoption of the Resolution was duly made by Commissioner Helpling <br />I' <br />and unanimously carried.✓, �', <br />a <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were examined <br />and found correct, were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same. Such bills and ac-'� <br />I. <br />counts being on file in thepffice of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the Warrants so issued l <br />from the respective funds being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book, as provided by the <br />rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record ind the list so recorded being made a <br />part of these minutes. <br />The County Depository filed its monthly statement, showing receipts and disbursements <br />of the various funds, which having been audited were found to be correct. <br />The Board then adjourned until 10:30 o'clock A. M. September 10! 1947, in®gular add e� ng with the following <br />members of the Board presents W, C. Graves, Jr., Chairman; Albert 0., Helseth, S. E. Glover, <br />and J. L. Helpling, Absents Frank C. Vickers. Also present were Charles A. Mitchell, <br />Attorney; L. B. O'Steen, Sheriff; and Douglas Baker, Clerk, <br />Chairman Graves announced this meeting was called for the purpose of receiving <br />beverage licenses applications and such other business as might be properly brought before this", <br />Board. <br />Application of Aristell Darrisaw "Ace Club" located on South Clemmon Avenue near <br />White Front, Vero Beach, Florida, for license (Series 2 COP) to sell wines and beer was in - <br />I <br />spected, and after carefully considering the same, on motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />same was approved. <br />+ Chairman Graves appointed a committee consisting of Albert 0.
