Barber, our <br />fellow citizen of Indian River County, Florida, as a.member of the State Road Department of <br />the State of Florida; and, <br />WHEREAS, Governor Marren has appointed a State Road Department Board composed of men <br />who are outstanding for their ability and integrity and in addition to Mr. Barbers being repre- <br />�i sented by Honorable Alfred A. McKethan, Honorable J. Glover,zTay'lors Honorable Marion G. <br />Nelson and Honorable Trusten P. Drake, Jr.; therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners, of Indian River County does <br />herewith express to Governor -Elect Fuller Darren the `appreciation and congratulations- of this <br />Board upon the appointments he has made to the State -Road Department to serve during his <br />admihistration. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Board does herewith express its congratulations <br />to our friend and fellow citizen Honorable Merrill P. Barber and to his colleagues upon sum <br />Board upon their appointment to these important positions and the appreciation of this Board <br />and of the citizens of Indian River County to the new members of the State Road Department <br />upon their acceptance of the responsibilities and with full recognition on ;the part of the <br />members of this - Board of County Commissioners that such acceptance has meant a genuine sacrif <br />by each of them and an evidence of their desire to render service to the -people of Florida. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk is instructed to.forward a certifiedd copy of <br />this Resolution to governor Warren and to Messrs, Alfred A.
