E. Carter, County Road and Bridge Superintendent, was instructed to mp <br />o <br />:contact Mr. Coslow of the Army Engineers' in order to obtain his views or ideas on the matter <br />1 as td the present removal of the remainder of the bridge' and whether action might be deferred <br />is to some future dates <br />Mr. Thomas Reed presented a petition signed by himself and twenty-five other tittzem <br />®f Roseland requesting the street running between the Goodrich-and°Wastin houses to the river <br />and the street between L* Stokes and the Roseland park be opened'to the public as they are <br />public streets but have been closed up by individuals to the' nju*r of the public* The Board <br />advised Mr. Reed that they would and did instruct Be Z. Carter' County Road and Bridge Super- <br />intendent and Commissioner H. C* Watts of that district to investigate the matter and report <br />back to this Board at an early date* <br />Chairman Graves explained to the Board the physical condition of Mar. R. J. Chapman <br />. stating that an operation was necessary and on motion of Commissioner Helpling seconded y <br />Commissioner Stewart and carried the Board authorized the expenditure not to exceed the sum <br />I' of .100 *= towards the cost of an operation for Mr.- Chapman. <br />The Board authorized Commissioner Helpling to investigate the welfare ease of <br />` �R Mrs. Sully Finley who was in meed of services of an E.M. specUUnot for a possible operation <br />
