Agents submitted a report of his activities for the month of <br />'Decembers 1948, which was reviewed and ordered filed with the Clerk. <br />Mr. Boudet in refering to the County fair exhibit at the coming f .r in Tampa to <br />be held in February of this year stated the Indian River Citrus League desired to tike over the <br />County exhibit and supervise and use it as a section project comprising -of -several Counties in <br />111eu of an individual Sounty project of Indian River County, in other words three Sounty <br />�if"sirs in one. After the matter had been discussed, it was moved by Cosgoisstoner Stewart' <br />!''seconded by Commissioner Waddell, and carried, that this request be granted and the $300000 <br />(formerly appropriated for this project be made payable to the Indiah,River Citrus League at <br />the direction and supervision of the County Agent' Boudeto <br />Honorable Homer Assessor, requested permit to purchase typeew Iter' <br />filing cabinet and indexes for the Tax Assessor's office which would cost.approximately $427000* <br />Mr. Fletcher -explained to the Board that excess fees from his office from thrfflLear 1948 would maria <br />than cover the purchase of said equipment., <br />On motion of Commissioner Stewart seconded by Commissioner Helplings the forgoing <br />11request;to purchase said equipment was granted; heaver, the Board requested Mr. Fletche to <br />,retain his present type -writer for the future use of the officials of the Court House. <br />County Deed No. 289 was executed by the Boardas provided undoter 0 19}#' <br />9iplcrida Statutes, 1941. <br />The following were appointed Deputy Sheriffs by L.
