SC -13.07 B. Delete paragraph GC -13.07.8 in its entirety and insert the following sentence in its <br />place <br />In special circumstances where a particular item of equipment is placed in continu- <br />ous service before Final Completion of all the Work, the correction period for that <br />item may start to run from an earlier date if so provided in the Specifications or by <br />Written Amendment. <br />SC -14.02 Progress Payments <br />SC -14.02.6.5. Delete paragraph GC -14.02.8.5.d in its entirety and insert the following paragraph <br />in its place: <br />d. ENGINEER has actual knowledge of the occurrence of any of the events <br />enumerated in paragraph 15.02.A; or <br />SC -14.02.6.5. Add the following sentences at the end of paragraph GC -14.02.8.5: <br />e. OWNER has been required to pay ENGINEER additional compensation because <br />of CONTRACTOR delays or rejection of defective Work; or <br />f. OWNER has been required to pay an independent testing laboratory for <br />subsequent inspections, tests, or approvals taken after initial failing inspections, <br />tests, or approvals. <br />SC -14.02.C.1. Delete paragraph GC -14.02.C.1 in its entirety and insert the following <br />paragraph in its place: <br />C. Payment Becomes Due <br />1. Payment shall be made by OWNER to CONTRACTOR according to the Local <br />Government Prompt Payment Act. F.S. 218.70 et. seq. <br />SC -14.04 Substantial Completion <br />SC -14.04A. After the third sentence in paragraph GC -14.04A of the General Conditions, <br />delete the remainder of paragraph 14.04A in its entirety and replace with the following: <br />"If Engineer considers the Work substantially complete, Engineer will prepare <br />and deliver to Owner a tentative certificate of Substantial Completion that shall fix <br />the date of Substantial Completion. In accordance with the provisions of Florida <br />Statutes section 208.735(7)(a)(2005), upon receipt of the tentative certificate of <br />Substantial Completion from Engineer, the Owner, the Engineer, and the <br />Contractor shall conduct a walk-through inspection of the Project to document a <br />list of any items required to render the Work on the Project complete, <br />satisfactory, and acceptable under this Agreement (herein the "Statutory List"). <br />The Statutory List shall be reduced to writing and circulated among the Owner, <br />the Engineer, and the Contractor by the Owner or the Engineer within 30 <br />calendar days after substantial completion.
