Moody, Tax Collector of the County of Indian River: <br />You are hereby commanded to collect out of the real estate and personal property, <br />from each of the persons and corporations named in the annexed Intangible Personal Property <br />Assessments Roll, the taxes set down in each roll -opposite each name of person, firm or cor- <br />poration therein described, and in case taxes so imposed are not paid at the time prescribed <br />by law, you are to collect the same by levy and sale of goods and chattels, lands and tene- <br />ments to the person, firm or corporation so taxed; and all sums collected for the State <br />taxes you are to pay to the State Treasurer at such time as may be required by law; and you are <br />further required to make all collections on or before the first Monday in April; and on or <br />before the first Monday in July you will make a final report to and settlement with the Comp- <br />troller and County Commissioners. <br />j ourned. <br />ATTEST <br />Given under my hand and seal this 21st day of October, in the year A. NgO� 1. 1949.- <br />The <br />949.- <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met at the Court House <br />in Vero Beach, Florida, at 10:00 o'clock A. M., Tuesday' November 19 1949, in regular meeting <br />with the following members of the Board present: W. C. Graves, Chairman; Tom N. Stewart, <br />Aubrey L. Waddell, Sylvester Moods, and H. C. Watts. Also present were Charles A. Mitchell, <br />Attorney; E. E. Carter, Road and Bridge Superintendent; L. B: O'Steen; Sheriff; and Douglas <br />Baker, Clerk. <br />The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved on motion of <br />Commissioner Stewart, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and carried. <br />Mrs. Lucky together with Mrs. Gladys Rice and Mrs: H. C. Watts representing the <br />Women's Clubs appeared before the Board requesting the latent information with regard to the <br />proposed fire control units in Indian River County. Charles A. Mitchells Attorney, speaking <br />for the Board gave Mrs. Lucky and her committee all information to date as to what procedure <br />had been followed, what had been accomplished to date by the Board with regard to the fire <br />control units, and said information was supplemented by M. A. Boudet, County Agent and E. E. <br />Carter, Road and Bridge Superintendent. <br />Surety Bond for J. R. Graves as Commissioner of Indian River Misquoto Bontrol <br />District in the sum of $59000.00 with U. S. Fidelity and Guaranty Company as surety was <br />filed with Douglas Baker, Clerk Circuit Court, October 199 1949 <br />County Deed No. 300 was executed by the Board as provided boder Chapter 194, Florida <br />Statutes' 1941, <br />Deputy Sheriff <br />• The following was appointecy by L.
