that this Board does herewith request the State Road Department of the State of Florida to
<br />designate Florida State Road No. 5, also known as t1. S. Highway No. 1, through Indian River
<br />County, for improvement on a first priority basis.
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by this Board that the State Road Department of Florida is
<br />further requested to improve said Highway on its present route through Indian River County,
<br />Florida.
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Resolution be furnished Hon-
<br />orable Alfred A. McKethan, Chairman of the State Road Department of Florida, and Honorable
<br />Merrill P. Barber, a member of the State Road Department from this District.
<br />Motion for the adoption of the Resolution was seconded by Commissioner Waddell
<br />and unanimously carried.
<br />County Deeds Numbers 306 and 307 were executed by the Board as provided under
<br />Chapter 194, Florida Statutes, 1941.
<br />The Board proceeded to and did name and select the following persons as Inspectors
