The value of that private sector contribution from those executives is figured at a minimum <br /> ( ; executive salary of approximately $80 per hour and is estimated at over $134,000 in <br /> volunteer assistance. This does not include many in-kind services. Above this figure, the <br /> Chamber also receives private contributions from the business community specifically <br /> targeted for the economic development efforts performed by the Chamber on behalf of the <br /> county. <br /> Volunteers serve through an established structure of committees, sub-committees and task <br /> forces as required to positively influence change in: new and existing commerce, <br /> manufacturing, workforce enhancement, surveys for ACCRA Cost-of-Living data, Economic <br /> Leadership Alliance, project review committee, and more. The volunteers bring with them <br /> professional experience and a commitment to the success of this initiative and partnership. <br /> • Approximately 80 percent of our volunteers are senior executives, CEO's and senior level <br /> staff. <br /> 7. Description of the countywide purpose the funds will be used for. <br /> County funding will be combined with the private sector contributions for the overall <br /> operating budget of the Economic Development Division. During FY 2013/2014, in addition <br /> to $142,054 collected in reimbursement from County funds, $60,381 was generated through <br /> contributions by our Economic Leadership Alliance investors and other sources. <br /> ( <br /> Over $175,000 of in-kind services and support are supplied by the Chamber and/or <br /> contributed by others in the county to accomplish the goals and objectives for economic <br /> development efforts. <br /> The FY 2015/2016 Economic Development Marketing Plan is attached. Specific areas where <br /> the funds will be utilized are in keeping with the goals and strategies as outlined and agreed <br /> upon by the County, the Economic Development Council, the Department of Community <br /> Development and the Chamber; they include but are not limited to: <br /> • Direct marketing to site location consultants and targeted industries with continued follow- <br /> up and communication <br /> • Professional services for maintenance and hosting the economic development website, <br /> export services, research, and the production of studies and reports <br /> • Prospect development and communication <br /> • Maintain current cost-of-living data and host cost-of-living calculator on the economic <br /> development website <br /> • Hosting ZoomProspector - www.indianriversites.com, the commercial/industrial real <br /> estate data base, including upgraded features to allow for mobile utilization.
