The minutes of the previous meetings were read and the same approved upon motion of Commissioner Stewart, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and carried. C. H. Coulter, State Forester; Mr. Howgrd, District Forester, and H. V. Barnett, County Ranger, appeared before the Board', and Mr. Coulter made a report of their activities to date with regard to the Indian River Co my forest fire service unit and also outlined future pians of construction and operation. In connection with the fire control and police radio projects between the County and the City of Vero Beach, Chairman Graves appointed a committee consisting of Dale Talbert and Commissioner Stewart to meet with the City Council for the purpose of discussing mutual problems relating to these projects between the City an4the County. E. E. Carter, Road and Bridge Superintendent was instructed to supervise the in- rain_ stalling of/soarm gauges and both fire towers in the County. J. Harold Knight,. R. S. Edsall and A. R. Jones appeared before the Board and pre- sented the following letter.
