131 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this direction as to use of such funds for 1951, <br />shall remain in effect throughout the year unless revised or supplemented by mutual agreement <br />• between the Board of County Commissioners and the State Road Department, which revision or <br />supplement shall result from some emergency or urgent need, and shall be in the form of a <br />new County Resolution, the provisions of which are agreed to and accepted by the State Road <br />Department; and that the tentative schedule for Use of Secondary Funds for 1952 be considered <br />in effect unless annual Resolutions amending same are filed by January 10th in that year. <br />JIE IT FURTHER RESOLVED$ that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be filed <br />with the State Road Department. <br />The foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coimnissioner Watts andnunanimously <br />adopted. <br />- - - - - - - - - <br />RESOLUTION - PRI�dAR. Y ROA ,� YEAR 1951 <br />Commissioner W. C. Graves introduced the following Resolution and moved its <br />adoption as follows, to -wits <br />WHEREAS, the State Road Department of the State of Florida is now in process of <br />preparing its annual budget for the year 1951; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, is <br />vitally interested in the additions, extensions and improvements to the primary road system <br />of the State of Florida in Indian River County, -Florida; Now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian -River County, <br />Florida, that this board does herewith respectfully request the State Road Department of <br />Florida to include and incorporate in its budget for the year 1951 for primary roads the <br />following projects in Indian River County, Florida, to -wits <br />1. The widening, extension and improvement of Florida State Road No. 5 on its <br />present right of way into a modern and adequate four lane highway through the City of <br />Vero Beach. <br />2. The relocation, extension and improvement of State Road No. 502 in Indian <br />River County, Florida, in order that said State Road shall extend from the intersection of 8th <br />Avenue, or Florida State Road No. 5, East on an extension of 21st Street to connect with the <br />new concrete bridge now nearing completion across the Indian River at Vero Beach. <br />• 3. The resuffacing of State Road No. 60 through the City of Vero Beach. <br />4.
