1937 <br />1 <br />Company of New York as surety was approved October 10, 1951 by Douglas Baker, Clerk Circuit Court, <br />as provided by law. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were ex-;.- <br />amined and found correct, were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same. Such bills �sr <br />and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the warrants so <br />issued from the respective funds being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book, as provided by <br />the rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded being made a <br />part of these minutes. <br />The County Depository filed its monthly statement, showing receipts and disburse- <br />ments of the various funds, which having been audited were found to be correct. <br />There being no further business, on motion made, seconded and carried, the Board <br />then adjourned. <br />ATTEST: <br />i <br />CLERK <br />------------------------------------------------------M-------------------------------------r-- <br />FIRM: BASE BID: ESTIMATE OF TIME REQUIRED: CONDITIONS: <br />Pauly Jail Building Co. $17,238.00 Eight (8) months - - - <br />Manly Jail Works 17,800.00 Three and a half (32) months - - - <br />Fries and Son 17,993.00* Four (4) months** *Vague because <br />stipulated proposal <br />form was not used. <br />**After receipt of <br />material. <br />Roanoke Iron and Bridge <br />Works, Inc. 242700.00 Seven (7) months - - <br />No other bids received at the time of bid opening. <br />After careful consideration and deliberation it was moved by Commissioner Stewart, <br />seconded by Commissioner Waddell and unanimously carried, that the contract be awarded to the <br />Manly Jail Works on the basis of the value of time to be saved over that indicated by the lowest <br />bidder; thereupon the Chairman and Clerk were authorized and instructed to execute a contract, <br />upon approval as to form, by the architects and engineers and County Attorney. <br />A check was received in the sum of $40.00 representing rent on the"Shipshewana <br />Shores' property and it was ordered by the Board that the same be delivered to Mr. E. E. Carter <br />and requested that the amount be placed with the other funds, that the present committee in <br />charge continue to function until possession is obtained by the new committee, and the Board <br />further requested that a report of all receipts and disbursements be made from the beginning up <br />to the present. <br />Notary Public bond for Marylynn C. Cole in the sum of $500.00 with Hartford Acci- <br />dent and Indemnity Company as surety was approved October 10, 1951 by Douglas.Baker, Clerk Cir- <br />cuit Court, as provided by law. <br />Application for admission to the State Tuberculosis Sanatorium of Dorothy Johnson <br />(colored) Box 77, Gifford, Florida, was approved October 12, 1951. <br />Notary Public bond in the sum of $500.00 for Chas. P.
