I. The Board of County Commissioners requests that the Trustees of the Internal <br />Improvement Trust Fund: <br />• declare those lands adjacent to 102nd Terrace and those lands adjacent to <br />the Sebastian River Middle School, depicted in Attachment "A", as surplus; <br />and <br />• sell those lands adjacent to 102nd Terrace and depicted on <br />Attachment "A" to the County for development as an industrial <br />park; and <br />• lease those lands adjacent to the Sebastian River Middle School to <br />the County for use as a county recreational park. <br />2. The Board of County Commissioners agrees to restrict development on the <br />proposed surplus lands in such a manner that no adverse impacts will occur to <br />adjacent conservation land. <br />3. The Board of County Commissioners agrees to pay appraised value for the <br />proposed surplus land adjacent to the 102nd Terrace based upon an appraisal of <br />the market value of the property. <br />4. The Board of County Commissioners finds that the proposed site is consistent with <br />the policies of the County's adopted comprehensive plain and acknowledges that <br />a land use plan amendment will be processed for the proposed surplus property. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Eggert and <br />the motion was seconded by Commissioner T; pp; n , and, upon being put to a vote, <br />the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Fran Adams Ave <br />Vice Chairman Carolyn K.
