The Hoard of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at the Court House at 10 o'clock A.li.Tueaday November 3rd 1925, with the following members of the Hoard present: John H. Atkin, Chairman; G. A. Braddock; J. W. LaBruce; Donald Forbes and 0. 0. Helseth. Also present was Miles Warren, Clerk. The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved. The Notary Public bond of S. N. Smith, in the sum of *500 00 with the American Surety Company, a corporation. as surety was approved. Mrs. A. W. Young and other ladies appeared before the Board with respect to the employment of a County Nurse. After some discussion, it was ordered that a Nurse be employed at a salary of $150.00 per month for the next seven months, and was employed as such. The Bond of /red Z King, as Justice of the Peace, District Bo. 5 in the sum of $500.00 with Henry 0. Sharpley and Chas J. Brown as sureties was approved. Mr. h. w. Damerow and W. J. Mahar appeared before the Board with respect to securing_] Jr rights-of-way for Ocean Driveway in the County. The County Engineer was instructed to erect a sign at the North and South sat boundary line of the County to inform the traveling public that the Highway is patrolled by traffic officer. The Deputy Sheriff bond of William /rick. in the sum of *1,000.00 with William Atkin and Nellie Y. Babb, as sureties was approved. The County Judge filed his report of real estate licenses issued for the month of October .howing $350.00 collected for the State; $175.00 Collected for the County and $70.00 collected for the YlOrida Real Estate Board. It was ordered that the Clerk be instructed to write C. C. Braswell to put the road from the Dixie Highway to the Olney Bridge in as good condition as it was before it was damaged by his employees. Also that in the future all road work must be (Lone under the direction and supervision of the County Engineer, whether by individuals or the County itself. The Board then sd*s recessed until 1:30 Y.L. The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County re -convened at the Court House at 1:30 P.L. this date pursuant to recess of fore -noon.
