JTASON BROWN TO REPLACE KIMBERLY MASSUNG AS PROJECT <br /> DIRECTOR FOR ADMINISTERING THE ANNUAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE <br /> GRANTS <br /> The Board reviewed a Memorandum of December 27 , 2000 : <br /> To : Members of the <br /> Board of County Commissioners <br /> Date : December 27, 2000 <br /> Subject : PROJECT DIRECTOR FOR ADMINISTERING THE <br /> ANNUAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE GRANTS <br /> From . Kimberly Massung <br /> Executive Aide to the Commission <br /> Description and Condition <br /> At the commission meeting on March 21 , 2000 the Board accepted the invitation to serve as the <br /> coordinating unit of government for the annual Florida Department of Law Enforcement Byrne <br /> State and Local Law Enforcement Grants . This grant requires that a Project Direct be named to <br /> administer the grant locally and the state was notified that Kimberly Massung, Executive Aide, <br /> would be the Indian River County contact person . With the workload of the County Commission <br /> I <br /> ffice I am unable to continue to administer these grants . <br /> Jason Brown, Budget Manager, has agreed to take over this responsibility and the state needs to <br /> be notified of the change. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Notify the state that Budget Manager, Jason Brown, will be the Indian River County Project <br /> Director for the Substance Abuse Grants for the remaining months of FY 2000/2001 . <br /> ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams , <br /> SECONDED by Commissioner Stanbridge , the <br /> $ oard unanimously approved Budget Manager Jason <br /> - -Brown as Indian River County Project Director for <br /> the Substance Abuse Grants for the remaining <br /> months of FY 2000/2001 , as requested . <br /> E <br /> JANUARY 2 , 2001 81� 7 5 <br /> - 24 - <br /> . . r <br />
