He thanked staff and advised that they did <br />not have a formal presentation to make but would be happy to answer any questions. <br />Commissioner Ginn asked to see the color rendering and many voiced their <br />enthusiasm and commendations for what they saw. <br />Vice Chairman Tippin agreed and added it would be nice to get the property back on <br />the tax roll again. <br />In response to Commissioner Macht, Mr. Moler advised a reasonable completion date <br />would be a year from today. <br />Brian Heady, Vero Beach, said it was nice to see developers come without their <br />hands out for taxpayers' money. He thanked the developer. <br />It was determined that no one else wished to be heard and the Chairman closed the <br />public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution No. 2002-001 amending the Zoning Ordinance and <br />the accompanying Zoning Map from CG to PD for the property <br />located on the northwest corner of US/0 and 12`h Street; and <br />approved the conceptual PD plan with the following exceptions: <br />1) Prior to release of the final site plan, the applicant shall <br />provide the County with funds to reactivate the 12th Street traffic <br />signal; 2) Prior to issuance of a certificate of occupancy (C.O.), <br />the 12`'' Street signal shall be operational, and 752 parking spaces <br />shall be provided in accordance with the conceptual PD plan. <br />January 8, 2002 <br />62 <br />BK f .)
