RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends the approval of the attached payment request <br />from Woods Hole Group, Inc. Funding to be from Account # 128-144- <br />572-033-19. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously approved the <br />payment request in the amount of $3,292.46, as recommended by <br />staff. <br />7i. RESOLUTION 2002-096 AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 20112 2003 BUDGET <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT #001 <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of November 5, 2002: <br />To: Members of the Board of County Commissioners <br />Through: Joseph A. Brown <br />Budget Manager <br />Date: November 5, 2002 <br />Subject: Miscellaneous Budget Amendment 001 <br />Description and Conditions <br />The attached budget amendment appropriates funding necessary for the following: <br />1. The Indian River County library system has received a Born to Read Grant from the State of. <br />Florida Division of Library and Information Services. The attached entry appropriates these <br />grant funds in the amount cf $53,500. <br />During fiscal year 2001/02, funding was approved for startup costs at the North County <br />Aquatic Center. Due to constructions delays, this startup capital was not purchased until the <br />current year. The attached entry transfers funds to the Municipal Services Taxing Unit <br />(M.S.T.U.) in fiscal year 2002/03. <br />The Florida Association of Counties dues increased this year for a special assessment <br />relating to Articie V funding issues.
