The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard in this <br />matter. <br />Rene Renzi, 340 Waverly Place, indicated her enthusiastic support. <br />It was determined that no one else wished to be heard and the Chairman closed the public <br />hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Stanbridge, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously adopted Resolution <br />No. 2001-117 approving transmittal of a proposed amendment to the <br />Indian River County Comprehensive Plan to the State of Florida <br />Department of Community Affairs for its review. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-117 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE TRANSMITTAL OF A PROPOSED AMENDMENT <br />TO THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO THE STATE OF FLORIDA <br />DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR ITS REVIEW. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted the Indian River County <br />Comprehensive Plan on February 13, 1990, and <br />WHEREAS, the county received comprehensive plan amendment applications during its July <br />2001 amendment submittal window, and <br />WHEREAS, the Local Planning Agency held a public hearing on this comprehensive plan <br />amendment request on September 27, 2001, after due public notice, and <br />WHEREAS, the Local Planning Agency voted 6 to 0 to recommend that the Board of County <br />Commissioners transmit the comprehensive plan amendment listed below; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County held a Transmittal <br />Public Hearing on November 13, 2001, after advertising pursuant to F.S. 163.3184(15)(b)(1), and <br />November 13, 2001 <br />55 <br />
