RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 117 <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners announced at the transmittal public hearing <br />its intention to hold and advertise a final public hearing at the adoption stage of the plan amendment <br />process. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT: <br />L The above recitals are ratified in their entirety. <br />2. The following proposed amendment is approved for transmittal to the State of Florida <br />Department of Community Affairs: <br />a. Request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan from L-2, Low - <br />Density Residential -2 (up to 6 units/acre), and C-2, Privately Owned Conservation -2 (up <br />to 1 unit/40 acres), to C-1, Publicly Owned Conservation -1 (zero density), for ±88.5 <br />acres located on the north side of the St. Lucie County Line, between US I and the Indian <br />River Lagoon; and <br />b. Request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan from L-2, Low - <br />Density Residential -2 (up to 6 units/acre), to C-1, Publicly Owned Conservation -1 (zero <br />density), for ±66 acres located on the south side of 9`' Street, SW (Oslo Road), east of <br />US 1; and <br />1 <br />r.; <br />c. Request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan from C-2, <br />s Privately Owned Conservation -2 (up to 1 unit/40 acres), to C-1, Publicly Owned <br />Conservation -1 (zero density), for ±59.5 acres located on the west side of SR A 1 A, south <br />of Round Island Park; and <br />I d. Request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan from L-2, Low - <br />Density Residential -2 (up to 6 units/acre), to C-1, Publicly Owned Conservation -1 (zero <br />density), for ±19 acres located at the south end of 130`h Street (Gibson Street) right-of- <br />way, on the west side of the Florida East Coast Railway; and <br />e. Request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan from L-1, Low - <br />Density Residential -1 (up to 3 units/acre), to C-1, Publicly Owned Conservation -1 (zero <br />density), for ±1.5 acres located on the east side of SR AIA, along the north boundary of <br />Golden Sands Park. <br />The forgoing Resolution was offered by Commissioner -Stanbridge and seconded by <br />Commissioner Ti ppi n and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />November 13, 2001 <br />Chairman Caroline D.
