Thereupon Commissioner Watts intro- <br />duced the following Resolution and moved its adoption, to -wit: <br />WHEREAS, the County Auditor, after tentatively ascertaining the proposed fiscal <br />policies of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County for the ensuing fkscal ye <br />did prepare and present to the Board a tentative budget for the ensuing fiscal year for each of <br />the funds as provided by law for the annual budget of the Board of County Commissioners of Indi <br />River County, Florida, including all estimated receipts, taxes to be levied and balances expect <br />to be brought forth and all estimated expenditures, reserves and balances to be carried over at <br />j,, the end of the year; and, <br />I <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did receive and examine said tentativ <br />i <br />budget for each fund and did require such changes to be made as the Board did deem necessary an <br />the Auditor's estimate of receipts other than taxes and of balances to be brought forward not <br />!'having been revised; and, <br />ii <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of said tentative budget and the completion of all revision <br />this Board did prepare a statement summarizing all of the tentative budgets showing for each bud! <br />liget and the total of all budgets the proposed tax millages, the balances, the reserves and the <br />total of each major classification of receipts and expenditures, classified according to the <br />classification of accounts prescribed by the Comptroller of the State of Florida; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Board did cause said summary statement to be advertised one time in <br />a newspaper of general circulation published in Indian River County, Florida, to -wit: In the <br />';issue of August 28, 1952, of the Vero Beach Press Journal, as will more fully appear by proof of <br />publication thereof filed in the minutes of this Board; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Board did meet at the time and place stated in said advertisement <br />;for the purpose of hearing requests and complaints from the public regarding the budgets and for <br />,!the purpose of holding a public hearing and making whatever revisions in the budget it may deem <br />';necessary; Now, therefore, <br />�' Ili <br />9 <br />I <br />
