<br /> Recommendation :
<br /> It is recommended that the Board of County Commissioners reject Fred Mensing ' s
<br /> demands for payment and other demands , and authorize the county attorney to continue
<br /> exploring means to resolve Mr . Mensing ' s claims . It is also recommended that the Board
<br /> authorize notification of the corresponding title insurance companies of Mr. Mensing ' s
<br /> claims .
<br /> Discussion :
<br /> Attached are copies of correspondence from Mr. Mensing . Inasmuch as Mr.
<br /> Mensing demands a response before November 7 , 2001 , 1 considered it appropriate to
<br /> present this matter to the Board of County Commissioners in an effort to avert threatened
<br /> litigation .

<br /> Board unanimously rejected Fred Mensing ' s
<br /> demands for payment and other demands ; authorized
<br /> the County Attorney to continue exploring means to
