Commissioner Adams was concerned that we not deplete the capacity charge account, <br />and Director Olson agreed. <br />In response to a question, Director Olson explained that a number of golf courses are <br />using reuse water but they are trying to expand the potential use of this resource and to <br />integrate stormwater into the useful supply. <br />Commissioner Stanbridge agreed that we hope to be able to do that. <br />Commissioner Macht quipped that when you mentioned stormwater, up pipes <br />Commissioner Stanbridge, and when you mention large sums of money, in pops Joe Baird. <br />Assistant County Administrator Joe Baird stated that the cash balance in the capacity <br />charge account is $16,087,000. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Stanbridge, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Macht, the Board <br />unanimously approved the grant application, <br />authorized matching funding of construction of the <br />projects outlined above (upon receipt of grant); and <br />authorized the Chairman to execute the applications <br />and agreements associated with the grant; as <br />recommended by staff. <br />DECEMBER 4, 2001 <br />DOCUMENTATION IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />-116- <br />
