MOTION WAS MADE by Vice Chairman Flescher <br />SECONDED by Commissioner O'Bryan, to accept <br />Andrew Kennedy and his colleagues' donation of $300:00 <br />(nonprofit rate) for the use of County equipment, for the <br />2009 Opening Day Regatta. <br />Some Commissioners volunteered to help with the expense. <br />Commissioner O'Bryan wanted staff to initiate a list of those who contribute so they <br />can be publicly acknowledged for their contribution to the community. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the Motion <br />carried unanimously. The Board accepted Andrew <br />Kennedy and his colleagues' donation of $300.00 <br />(nonprofit rate) for the use of County equipment, for the <br />2009 Opening Day Regatta. <br />There was a brief discussion regarding other organizations requesting waivers, <br />justifying expenditures, and possibly adding this as a line item in the budget. <br />12.
