This phase of the project has been completed. We now propose to add the water and <br />force main valve inventory to the existing fire hydrant inventory database that was <br />created by Camp Dresser & McKee Inc. <br />Currently Camp Dresser & McKee Inc. (CDM Inc.) is the continuing services consultant <br />for water and wastewater treatment systems. Staff is requesting Board approval to allow <br />CDM to provide technical assistance in adding the water and force main valve inventory <br />to the existing fire hydrant database. <br />Attached is CDM's Work Authorization No. 1 (Attachment A. Attachment B and <br />Attachment — Project Budget) for continuing consulting services in creating the water and <br />force main valve inventory and adding it to our existing Microsoft Access tire hydrant <br />database in the amount of $7,800.00. <br />CONCLUSION <br />It is Staff's recommendation that the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />following items as outlined above and presented below: <br />1. Approval of CDM Inc. Work Authorization 1 for continuing consulting <br />services in the amount of $7 800.00. <br />Authorize the Chain nan to execute all necessary documents <br />Commissioner Ginn questioned whether an annual maintenance agreement with <br />Windows N/T would be required, and Utilities Director Erik Olson responded that it would <br />not.
