Burkeen, Chief, ' <br />Division of Emergency Medical Services <br />DATE: February 18, 2002 <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Renewal for a Class "A" Certificate of Public Convenience and <br />Necessity For Indian River Shores Department of Public Safety <br />On April 10, 2000, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners approved a renewal of <br />Class "A' Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity for Indian River Shores Department of <br />Public Safety to provide BLS/ALS Emergency Medical Services originating within Indian River <br />Shores. This certificate was necessary in order to comply with Indian River Code of Laws and <br />Ordinances as specified in Chapter 304. The certificate was approved and renewed for a period of <br />two (2) years and will expire April 10, 2002, and the renewal process should be accomplished prior <br />to that date. <br />MARCH 12, 2002 <br />-100- <br />e; i2` <br />
