2'71 <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were <br />• examined and found correct, were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same. Such <br />bills and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the warrants <br />i <br />so issued from the respective funds being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book, as provided <br />by the rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded being <br />made a part of these minutes. <br />The County Depository filed its monthly statement, showing receipts and dis- <br />bursements of the various funds, which having been audited, were found to be correct. <br />There being no further business, on motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />Board then adjourned. <br />ATTEST: <br />FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 7. 1952 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met at the Court House <br />in a Special Meeting held at 11:00 o'clock A. M., Friday, November 7, 1952, with the following <br />members present: W. C. Graves, Jr., Chairman; Aubrey L. Waddell; J. J. P. Hamilton; Allison <br />Warren. Absent was H. C. Watts. Also present were S. N. Smith, Jr., Attorney; E. E. Carter, <br />Road and Bridge Superintendent; and Douglas Baker, Clerk. <br />Chairman Graves announced this meeting was called for the purpose of adopting <br />Resolution regarding the improving and paving of Lateral "B" (King's Highway) road together <br />with other resolutions pertaining to the 1951-1952 Budget, and such other business as might <br />be properly brought before this Board. <br />Honorable Merrill P. Barber, member of the State Road Department, appeared <br />before the Board and discussed matters pertaining to road projects. <br />Commissioner Warren and Commissioner Hamilton were appointed as a Committee <br />regarding location and building for Mosquito Research work. <br />R E S O L U T I O N ---LATERAL "B" (KING'S HIGHWAY) ROAD <br />Commissioner Waddell introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption <br />as follows to -wit: <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did, <br />on December 49 1951,. adopt its Resolution designating certain roads in said County for improve- <br />ment and paving by the State Road Department of the State of Florida under the secondary road <br />program of said department; and, <br />WHEREAS, one of the roads so designated for improvement and paving was that <br />road known as Lateral "B" (King's Highway) road extending from the Oslo road North to the South <br />Gifford road a distance of approximately 5.5 miles; and, <br />WHEREAS, said Board of County Commissioners desire to have the improving and <br />paving of said road extended Northward from the South Gifford road a distance of 3.5 miles to <br />the North Winter Beach road, State Road S 508; and, <br />WHEREAS, said road so designated including the extension thereof hereby request- <br />
