North Barrier Island Corridor Special Regulations <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board of County <br />Commissioners at its meeting of March 20 2001. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />As an outgrowth of the Wabasso Corridor Plan and subsequent CR 510 East Corridor planning <br />activities and regulations. the Board of County Commissioners established the North Barrier Island <br />Task Force to formulate and help implement special corridor regulations for the North Barrier Island. <br />The Board indicated that a new corridor of special regulation should run along SR A I -.A. north of <br />the town of Indian River Shores. and along CR 510. and should emulate the Wabasso Corridor and <br />CR 510 East Corridor requirements. Subsequently, the Task Force met on November 16 and <br />December 12, 2000 and unanimously recommended that the Board of County Commissioners adopt <br />the proposed North Barrier Island Corridor special regulations (LDRs). <br />March 20, 2001 <br />49 <br />BK 11/PG521 <br />as <br />
