Davis, P.E. <br />Public Works Direct. <br />SUBJECT: Woods Hole Group, Inc. <br />Work Order No. 2 <br />DATE: February 25, 2002 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Woods Hole Group, Inc. Has a Professional Services Agreement with <br />the County to provide miscellaneous coastal engineering services on <br />an as -needed basis. This Work Order No. 2, in the amount of <br />$18,900.00, provides for 90 additional hours of consultation <br />services and the preparation of an update of shoreline erosion <br />trends for the Beach Preservation Plan, last updated in 1998. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends the approval of Work Order No. 2 to the <br />Agreement with Woods Hole Group, Inc Funding to be from Account <br /># 128-144-572-033-19. <br />ATTACHMENT <br />Work Order No. 2 <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Vice Chairman Tippin, to approve staffs recommendation. <br />Under discussion, Commissioner Adams understood that Woods Hole has been doing <br />this on an "as needed" basis but she thought the figure was excessive.
