Frame, General Services Director <br />Subject: Space for Supervisor of Elections <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In keeping with the request of the Supervisor of Elections and <br />the depat Intent has sought out several sites and alternativ <br />investigated: <br />• Luria's Plaza (next to the Tax Collector) <br />• Former Office Max space <br />• Vero Beach Elks Lodge <br />• Velde Ford Site <br />• Temporary Modular Space <br />• 43rd Avenue Trade Center <br />Initially, approximately 5,500 square was sought as being the current square footage currently occupied <br />by both the Supervisor's occupation of space with the current Administration building and the warehouse <br />located at Road and Bridge where the touch screen voting machines are stored. <br />In discussing this further with the Supervisor, I was advised that she would prefer an amount of space <br />equivalent to what had been recommended by the Spillis Report for move in for 2001. In discussing this <br />with the Supervisor, the amount deemed necessary was approximately 8,000 square feet.
