<br /> Use Approval for the Corrected River Island PD Plan
<br /> It is requested that the data herein presented be liven formal consideration by the Board of County
<br /> Commissioners at its regular meeting of May 15 , 2001 .
<br /> BACKGROUND :
<br /> On March 6, 2001 , the Board of County Commissioners voted 4-0 to rescind its January 9, 2001
<br /> approval of the River Island PD plan . The plan was rescinded because of an error the applicant/agent
<br /> 114 1
<br /> made on the PD plan . That error involved the site area, affected the allowable project density , and
<br /> required a correction . The Board ' s March 6” action also allowed staff to set a public hearing at
<br /> which the Board could consider approval of a corrected PD plan .
<br /> The applicant/agent, Mosby and Associates , Inc . , has now provided certified survey information and
<br /> a corrected PD plan that has been reviewed and verified by the County Surveyor. The corrected PD
<br /> Plan reduces the number of units proposed, but makes no other changes in layout, design, conditions
<br /> (tradeoffs ) , or waivers .
<br /> The Board is now to consider granting PD (planned development) plan and special exception use
<br /> approval for the corrected River Island PD plan .
