• <br />COMPLETE ASSESSMENT ROLL IS ON FILE <br />WITH THE ORIGINAL RESOLUTION IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002- 027 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, CONFIRMING THE SPECIAL <br />ASSESSMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE PHASES III -D AND III -E <br />WATER EXPANSION IN THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA (EAST AND <br />WEST OF LACONIA STREET BETWEEN CLEARMONT STREET AND <br />CAPON TERRACE, AND BETWEEN GRANDUER AND GLADIOLA <br />AVENUES), PROVIDING FOR SPECIAL ASSESSMENT LIENS TO BE <br />MADE OF RECORD <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County has, by <br />Resolution No. 2002-020, determined to make special assessments against certain <br />properties to be serviced by a water main extension (east and west of Laconia Street, <br />between Clearmont Street and Capon Terrace, and between Granduer and Gladiola Avenues); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, said resolution described the manner in which said special <br />assessments shall be made and how said special assessments are to be paid; and <br />WHEREAS, the resolution was published in the Vero Beach Press Journal, as <br />required by Section 206.04, Indian River County Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County passed <br />Resolution No. 2002-021 which set a time and place for a public hearing at which the <br />owners of the properties to be assessed and other interested persons would have the <br />chance to be heard as to any and all complaints as to said project and said special <br />assessments, and for the Board to act as required by Section 206.07, Indian River <br />County Code; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of the public hearing was published in <br />the Press Journal Newspaper on Friday, April 12, 2002, and once again on Friday, April <br />19, 2002 (twice one week apart; the last being at least one week prior to the hearing) <br />as required by Section 206.06, Indian River County Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the land owners of record were mailed notices at least ten days <br />prior to the hearing, as required by Section 206.06, Indian River County Code and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County on <br />Tuesday, May 7, at 9:05 a.m., conducted the public hearing with regard to the special <br />assessments; <br />MAY 7, 2002 <br />-61- <br />Di1 <br />, ,1 <br />
