• • <br />The production of the video was delayed due to September 11t. With the uncertainty of when <br />the project would be moving forward, a refund was requested. The refund was received on <br />December 10, 2001 and placed back in the Tourist Development fund. <br />Late in March 2002, Mr. Tom Lowe of Eagle Productions, met with representatives from the <br />Chamber and myself to explain that the project was moving ahead and asked for Indian River <br />County's support. The production schedule and what community events to showcase from <br />Indian River County were also discussed. This one hour documentary video could have the <br />potential to promote and advertise tourism to an audience of 80 million viewers. <br />Recommendation <br />Approve a $5,000 sponsorship from Indian River County for the PBS PLUS Television <br />Documentary The River Runs North -The Story of Florida's Historic St. Johns).
