DeBI CP <br />Chief, Environmental Planning <br />DATE: July 10, 2002 <br />SUBJECT: Board Consideration to Approve Purchase of the Hallstrom Farmstead LAAC Site <br />It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners formally consider the following information at the <br />Board's meetmg of July 16, 2002. <br />SUMMARY <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners purchase the St. Lucie Development <br />Corporation and Hallstrom Properties, Inc- parcels of the "Hallstrom Farmstead" LAAC Site with land <br />acquisition bond funds. The proposed purchase option contacts (already executed by the sellers) are <br />summarized as follows: <br />Purchaser: Indian River County Board of County Commissioners / Flonda Communities Trust <br />(County will hold title) <br />Seller: St. Lucie Development.
