• <br />Vice Chairman Tippin observed that most people do not realize that we were the <br />second county in Florida to pass height restrictions and Indian River County is considered <br />to have the tightest land development regulations in the state of Florida. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Adams, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, to have staff move <br />forward and look at the multi -family parcels east of Old Dixie <br />Highway, visit with the owners of those parcels, and come back <br />with their survey to see if the owners would be willing to <br />consent to a rezoning and see if we can have single-family <br />zoning along the river to both protect the river and maintain the <br />integrity of what has begun. <br />Chairman Stanbridge indicated her support for the motion. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE QUESTION and the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />11.C.
