ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECO\DED BY <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution No. 2002-043 authorizing the conveyance of certain <br />property to the Indian River County Hospital District and <br />authorized staff to proceed with a replat of the Vero Beach - <br />Burial Park to "Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center". <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002- 043 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF <br />CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County owns <br />certain property platted as Vero Beach — Burial Park by virtue of a judicial decree <br />quieting title in Indian River County by adverse possession; and <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Hospital District, an organization not-for- <br />profit organized for the purposes of promoting community interest and welfare has <br />made application for the County's conveyance of the north approximately 31/2 acres <br />of the property to the Hospital District, to be used for the establishment and <br />operation of the new Gifford Health Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is satisfied that such <br />property is required for such use and is not needed for County purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Hospital District has borne the expenses <br />of the quiet title suit in order to quiet title to the entire 10 -acre Vero Beach — Burial <br />Park parcel in the County, <br />July 9, 2002 <br />14 <br />
