<br /> Subject: Change Order # 3 Main LibrarvBill Bryant & Associates, Inc.
<br /> BACKGROUND :
<br /> Attached is a memorandum regarding change order # 3 filed by Bill Bryant & Associate, Inc . It
<br /> is for additional sound treatment that was authorized for the temporary demolition wall which
<br /> has been erected inside the Main Library adjacent to the Children ' s area. Extra insulation and
<br /> drywall were requested to better insulate the subject area due to the level of intensity of
<br /> demolition work to be performed .
<br /> The architect and contractor were directed to proceed with the additional work to avoid delays in
<br /> the work . The cost of the work and this change is 53 , 795 . 83 .
<br /> RECOMMENDATION :
<br /> In light of the necessity of this improvement and that the Change Order # 3 has been reviewed and
<br /> recommended for payment by the supervising architect, staff recommends approval of Change Order # 3 .
