S .) , we have reviewed <br /> the "Notification of a Proposed Change to a Previously Approved Development of Regional Impact <br /> (DRI)" (NOPC) for the Grand Harbor DRI dated May 24 , 2001 . <br /> A condition of approval for the Grand Harbor DRI was to do an updated traffic analysis . The <br /> purpose of the NOPC is to amend the development order to reflect any addition traffic improvements <br /> necessary to allow development of the Grand Harbor DRI to continue . The traffic analysis <br /> methodology to be used was approved by Indian River County, the Florida Department of <br /> Transportation , the Florida Department of Community Affairs and Council . <br /> Council reviewed the traffic information provided by the applicant and determined that it was not <br /> sufficient to address the requirements of the development order. A revised analysis was submitted by <br /> the applicant and received by Council on August 22 , 2001 . Council reviewed the additional <br /> information and had some additional questions concerning two intersections that are significantly <br /> impacted by the project. Council received additional information from the applicant on September 4 , <br /> 2001 - Based on the additional information and information provided by County staff, Council <br /> determined that the traffic analysis is sufficient and the proposed amended development order <br /> adequately addresses the additional traffic improvements necessary to allow development of the <br /> Grand Harbor DRI to continue . <br /> If you have any questions please call . <br /> Sincerely , <br /> James T.
