2002 LLEBG Grant Award = S64,685.00 <br />Local Match = $ 7,187.00 <br />Total Program Money = $71,872.00 <br />To continue and enhance the current level of service in the area of Mobile computing, <br />replacement of laptops that are more that four (4) years old and do not fit the needs of the agency <br />anymore is in order. This will include all associated hardware needed in this enhancement. <br />In order to perform selective traffic enforcement efficiently, the Traffic Unit Motorcycle officers <br />must utilize hand held RADAR units. This enforcement tool will assist the unit with the goal of <br />reducing speed related crashes, <br />The Voice Stress Analyzer is a effect tool that is used in criminal investigationsas well as <br />background investigations of potential applicants to the agency. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard in <br />this matter.
