Gorham, Ph.D. J G 2 <br />Coastal Resources Manager <br />SUBJECT: Applied Technology and Management <br />Contract Amendment No.4 <br />DATE: August 30, 2002 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Applied Technology and Management, Inc. (ATM) serves as the <br />County's consultant for the design, engineering and pe/mitting of <br />beach restoration projects. The Agreement between the County and <br />ATM was executed on 27 April 1999, and specified a contract period <br />of three years. Previous Amendments to the Agreement have modified <br />the scope of work in the contract but have not extended the <br />contract period. This Amendment No. 4 would extend the contract <br />period for an additional three years and also would incorporate <br />ATM's current fee schedule. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends the approval of <br />contract with Applied Technology <br />from the Beach Preservation Fund <br />ATTACHMENT <br />Contract Amendment No. 4 <br />September 17, 2002 <br />76 <br />Contract Amendment No. 4 to the <br />and Management, Inc.
