PUBLIC DISCUSSION ITEM - REQUEST FROM BRIAN T. <br />HEADY TO SPEAK <br />The Board reviewed a letter of August 2002: <br />August, 2002 <br />Chairman, County Commission <br />Margaret Gunter <br />Indian River County Commission Members <br />Vero Beach Florida 32960 <br />Dear County Commission Commissioners: <br />Please place me on the citizen input public discussion portion of your agenda for <br />the next meeting. This is my SENS request to speak at this meeting. I request to speak <br />to the Indian River County Commission about saving tax dollars, <br />If you have any questions I can be reached by telephone at 7784028. <br />Sincerely, <br />Brian Heady suggested the County could save the taxpayers from paying for a new <br />County Administration Building. He reasoned that the County could terminate the lease of <br />the School Board on the 20,000 square foot building they lease from the County so some <br />ofthe County offices could move it. The School Board could move into some ofthe vacated <br />space they own. <br />Commissioner Ginn advised Mr Heady that the Space Needs Committee had <br />addressed that scenario during their deliberations and had determined that, when projected <br />September 3, 2002 <br />
