Keating, MCP; Co munity Devel pment Director <br />THROUGH: Sasan Rohani, AICP; Chief, Long -Range Planning <br />FROM: Randy Deshazo; Planner, Long -Range PlanningSD <br />DATE: August 19, 2002 <br />The Bobo Family's request to rezone 16.85 acres from RS -6 and RM -6 to <br />RM -8 (RZON 2002-04-0105) <br />It is requested that the following information be given formal consideration by the Board of <br />County Commissioners at its regular meeting of September 3, 2002. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />This request is to rezone 16.85 acres from RS -6, Single -Family Residential District (up to 6 <br />units/acres), and RM -6, Multiple -Family Residential (up to 6 units/acre), to RM -8, Multiple - <br />Family Residential District (up to 8 units/acre). The subject property is depicted in the figure <br />below, and is located on the east side of Indian River Boulevard, approximately 660 feet north of <br />415` Street. The purpose of this request is to secure the zoning necessary to develop the site at a <br />density consistent with the allowed density of its comprehensive plan land use designation <br />On July 25, 2002, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 5 to 0 to recommend that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the request to rezone the subject property. <br />September 3, 2002 <br />
