I WITH POST, BUCKLEY, SCHUH & JERNIGAN, INC . <br /> BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS : <br /> On March 16 , 1999 the Board of County Commissioners authorized staff to negotiate a Master Agreement <br /> for Professional Services and subsequent Task Orders for Master Utility Planning Services with Post, Buckley, <br /> Schuh & Jernigan, Inc . (PBS&J) pursuant to RFP #9037 . A copy of the March 16, 1999 Minutes is attached. <br /> After delaying the start of the Master Utility Planning activities for a period of time, Department of Utilities <br /> staff wishes to proceed with professional services for updating the County ' s 1993 Utility Master Plan. Over the <br /> last two years there has been a tremendous growth pattern throughout the County. Sprouting conventional & <br /> traditional residential planned unit developments, golf course type developments as well as expansion of current <br /> commercial corridors . <br /> In addition, the County ' s Planning Department is currently evaluating the expansion of the urban service <br /> boundary area as part of the Comprehensive Plan.
