Local property owners have contributed 80% of the cost of millings to be laid on a portion of <br />82nd avenue. The attached entry appropriates donated funds in the amount of $36 000 to <br />Secondary Roads/82nd Ave Millings Project. <br />2. Human Services has received a $500 donation from Florida Power & Light to purchase food <br />supplies for families in need of assistance The attached entry appropriates funding to Human <br />Services/Food & Dietary. <br />3. On December 10, 2013 the Board of County Commissioners approved the use of Law <br />Enforcement Trust Fund monies in the amount of $47,287 to be applied to the purchase of <br />external vest carriers. The attached entry appropriates funding. <br />4 On December 17, 2013 the Board of County Commissioners approved the condemnation, <br />demolition, and removal of six unsafe structures. The attached entry appropriates funding in <br />the amount of $25,050 from M.S.T.U. Fund/ Reserve for Contingency. <br />5. On November 5, 2013 the Board of County Commissioners approved multiple Emergency <br />Services Grants including a State Homeland Security Grant in the amount of $15,778, an <br />Emergency Management Hazardous Materials Plan Grant in the amount of $5,149, an <br />Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) in the amount of $74 416, an <br />Emergency Medical Services (EMS) County Awards Grant in the amount of $17 439, and an <br />Emergency Management Preparedness Assistance (EMPA) Grant in the amount of $24,986. <br />The attached entry appropriates these grant funds in the amount of $120,329 to the General <br />Fund and $17,439 to the Emergency Services District. <br />6. On December 10, 2013 the Board of County Commissioners approved additional funding in <br />the amount of $220,000 for Gifford Park Ballfields Improvements. The attached entry <br />appropriates funding from Optional Sales Tax/Cash Forward Oct 1St <br />7. The Florida East Coast Railway has submitted numerous grade crossing improvements that <br />are exceeding budgeted amounts The attached entry appropriates funding in the amount of <br />$235,541 from Secondary Roads/Cash Forward Oct 1St <br />39 <br />
