r332 <br />to the Department to reimbursing the Department for monies so advanced until all monies so <br />advanced are repaid in full. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the State Road Department of Florida is hereby <br />authorized, requested and empowered to advance and pay directly all such costs, funds and <br />expenses as are found to be necessary in connection with the purchase or condemnation of the <br />various rights of way hereinabove set forth and as are approved for payment by this Boa rd <br />acting by and through its Chairman. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all funds which shall be remitted to said Depart - <br />went for expenditure in Indian River County under the provisions of said laws are hereby <br />9 <br />pledged to the repayment of the monies advanced by the Department and that such funds shall <br />remain subject to the pledge hereby made until all monies so advanced are repaid in fullo <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the form of Agreement with said Department hereto <br />attached be and the same is hereby approved and that the Chairman and the.Clerk of this Board <br />be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute an Agreement in such form with the <br />Department in the name of and on behalf of this County. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that certified copies of this Resolution shall be <br />furnished to the State Road Department of Florida, State Board of Administration and to the <br />Comptroller of the State of Florida. <br />Mr. Strahan of Wabasso appeared before the Board and said that in the Craves <br />Brothers Subdivision in Wabasso when it rains the water backs up and is quite deep and that <br />a culvert is needed. The Board asked Mr. Carter to look over the situation and to contact <br />Mr. Strahan in about a week to ten days letting him know whether or not a culvert would be <br />put in. <br />Notary Public Bond for J. D. Baker, Jr. in the sum of $500,00 with the Home <br />Indemnity Company of New York as surety was approved July 29, 1953 by Douglas Baker, Clerk <br />of Circuit Court as provided by law. <br />Notary Public Bond for Edith Pippin in the sum of $500.00 with the American <br />Surety Company of New York as surety was approved July 29, 1953 by Douglas Baker, Clerk of <br />Circuit Court as provided by law. <br />Notary Public Bond for Ralph Sedgwick in the sum of $500.00 with the American <br />Surety Company of New York as surety was approved by Douglas Baker, Clerk of Circuit Court <br />as provided by law. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were <br />examined and found correct, were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same. Such <br />Bills and Accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the warrants <br />so issued from the respective funds being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book, as provided <br />by the rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded being <br />made a part of these minutes. <br />The County Depository filed its monthly statement, showing receipts and dis- <br />bursements of the various funds, which have been audited, were found to.be correct. <br />There being no further business, on motion of Commissioner Hamilton, seconded <br />by Commissioner Waddell and carried, the meeting'was adjourned until August 12th at 9:00 <br />o'clock A.
