• <br />• <br />An Engineer s Cost Estimate has been provided for the common improvements. Public Works has <br />reviewed and approved the submitted Engineer s Certified Cost Estimate. The County Attorney's <br />Office has reviewed and approved the submitted Contract for Construction. Financial security, <br />which represents 125% of the estimated cost to construct the required common improvements, must <br />be submitted and approved by county staff prior to recording the final plat. It should be noted that <br />all improvements within the Rutz 27th Avenue SW Retail Center will be private, with the exception <br />of certain utilities facilities that will be dedicated and guaranteed to Indian River County as required <br />by the Utility Services Department. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Based on the above analysis, staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners grant final <br />plat approval for the Rutz 27th Avenue SW Retail Center and authorize the Chairman to sign the <br />final plat. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />1.
