as provided by law in said District, said District comprising of all of Indian River County. <br />The same being Nine (9) mills for support and maintenances and One (1) mill for building <br />and special reserve.. <br />7. Estimates having been made by the said Board of Public Instruction for <br />SPECIAL TAX SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 11, and a certified copy of the Resolution filed with this <br />Board as required by law, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of Seventy- <br />five hundredths (.75) mills upon the dollar be levied and is hereby fixed and assessed for <br />the year 1953 on all of the property in the County of Indian River lying and being within the <br />boundaries of said District No. 11, which boundaries are as follows, to -wit: Beginning at <br />the Northeast corner of Section 32, Township 32 South, Range 40 East, then run West along <br />Section line to Northwest corner Section 31, Township 32 South, Range 38 East, thence South <br />on Range line to Southwest corner Section 31, Township 33 South, Range 39 East, thence West <br />along Section line to Northwest corner Section 6, Township 33 South, Range 36 East, thence <br />• South along Range line to Southwest corner Section 18, Township 33 South, Range 38 East, thence <br />East to Atlantic Ocean, thence North along Ocean beach to starting point; for the purpose of <br />paying interest upon and providing a Sinking Fund for bonds of said District dated December <br />1, 1940. <br />BE IT FUPTHER RESOLVED that the Tax Assessor of Indian River County, Florida, <br />be and he hereby is directed to assess and levy all the foregoing taxes upon the taxable pro- <br />perty in Indian River County, Florida, just and due taxation within the respective boundaries <br />upon which such taxes are levied and the Tax Collector of Indian diver County, Florida, be. <br />and be is hereby directed to collect said taxes and pay over the same and that a certified <br />copy of this Resolution be furnished to the County Assessor of Taxes and the County Collector <br />of Taxes. <br />Upon being duly seconded by Commissioner Watts, the same was unanimously adopted. <br />RESOLUTION -- AIR MARKERS <br />On -motion of Commissioner Warren, seconded by.Comrilissioner.Hamilton+ the.follow- <br />Ing Resolution was duly adopted: <br />WHEREAS, under the provisions of Chapter 24045, Laws of 1947, as amended, all <br />• money from registration of aircrafts is collected by the Motor Vehicle Commissioner; and <br />WHEREAS, the net proceeds from these moneys after a deduction for the necessary <br />expenses of the Motor Vehicle Commission, is deposited to the credit of the Florida State <br />Improvement Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, fifty (50/) per cent of the moneys collected by the counties is re- <br />fundable to the counties; and, <br />WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 18 of said Act, -it is provided that <br />the funds paid to the counties may be expended for general purposes by said counties, but <br />the counties may designate the --Florida Sta-te-:Improvepent Commission as their Agent to expend <br />said funds for aeronautical purposes within the county if the county so desires; and._ <br />WHEREAS, in the judgment of this Board, and the Board does so determine that <br />the Florida State Improvement Commission is in a better position to expend judiciously the <br />county's share of the funds for aeronautical purposes in this county: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County: <br />!hat the county does hereby designate the Florida State Improvement Commission <br />
