Request to Speak From Gifford Economic Development Council <br />(GEDC) Regarding Infrastructure Gifford and Police Interaction <br />With IRC Sheriff Office 150 <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br />Wanda Scott with The Gifford Economic Development <br />Council, 4306 26th Street, spoke on the need of services and <br />deliverables, and accountability in the Gifford Community, , <br />and wanted a better line of communication between the <br />Board and Gifford community. She felt those in the Gifford <br />Community were not getting proficient and efficient services <br />and expressed her concern about the infrastructure in <br />Gifford and interaction with the Indian River County <br />Sheriffs Department. <br />Pastor Mayra Ferguson, 26th Avenue and with the Gifford <br />Economic Development Council, also expressed her concerns <br />on police interaction in the Community, the infrastructure in <br />Gifford, and wanted the Board to listen to the community. <br />Ms. Scott made her final comments and asked that Gifford be <br />included in the upcoming Fiscal Year 2016/2017 County <br />Budget for repairs to the Community. <br />C.
