MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Flescher, <br /> SECONDED by Vice Chairman O ' Bryan, to approve <br /> staff s recommendation . <br /> Commissioner Davis wanted to move forward with the mowing of said property. <br /> r <br /> The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br /> carried . The Board unanimously : ( 1 ) accepted the <br /> donation by the Vero Beach Jaycees , Inc . of a 9 . 55 -acre <br /> parcel of land located at 6780 26th Street, Vero Beach, <br /> Florida 32966 ; (2) authorized the Chairman of the Board <br /> County Commissioners to execute the acceptance of the <br /> Quit-Claim Deed by the Emergency Services District of <br /> Indian River County, Florida, a dependent special district <br /> of Indian River County, Florida, operating by and through <br /> its Board of County Commissioners , with the condition <br /> a plaque be placed on the property or structure indicating <br /> the donation of the property by the Vero Beach Jaycees, <br /> Inc . , (3 ) authorized the redemption of all tax certificates <br /> the property as well as the payment of the property taxes <br /> the year 2011 and including the payment into escrow with <br /> the Tax Collector of the 2012 prorated property taxes no <br /> later than March 31 , 2012 ; (4) authorized staff to record <br /> Quit- Claim Deed in the Public Records of Indian River <br /> County, Florida; (5) filed a copy of the corporation ' s plan <br /> of distribution of assets with the Florida Secretary of State <br /> with the prerequisite filing fee ; (6) authorized staff to <br /> proceed with obtaining bids for the demolition; and <br /> (7) authorized staff to bring back to the Board of County <br /> Commissioners for adoption, a resolution cancelling taxes <br /> a� <br /> March 20, 2012 2 <br /> rye.
