On Motion of Commissioner Y'Jaddell, seconded by Commissioner Hamilton and <br />i <br />carried, flat of North Carolina Soubdivision was approved provided the folloving be added to • <br />the Plat: "ft dedication of Lot 13, Block 1, Lot 13, Block 2, and a dedication of the ,South <br />25 feet of Lot 26, Block 1, and South 25 feet of Lot 26, Block 2 for public road". <br />On Motion of Commissioner t`Jaddell, seconded by Commissioner ilatts and carried, <br />Sheriff O'Steen was authorized to purchase a deep freeze for the jail, cost not to exceed <br />Four Hundred Ninety -Nine ($499.00) Dollars. <br />The verdict of Coroner's jury in the matter of the death of Izell Chappell <br />was received and filed with the Clerk. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Warren, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and carried, <br />the offer of R. id. Graves of Indian River Packers, relating to right-of-way matter was <br />accepted. <br />Homer Fletcher, Tax assessor, advised he had put a house on the 1953 roll when <br />it shouldn't Have been and -upon Ddotion of Commissioner ITamilton, seconded by Commissioner' <br />',larren and carried, the Board authorized tyre correction and signed the certificate. <br />Mrs. Rinne Christensen, County !lelfare Case Worker, submitted a report of her <br />activities for t;se Month of November and said report was filed with the Clerk. <br />Upon Motion of Commissioner Waddell_, seconded by Commissioner ilamilton and <br />carried, the Board approved Dr. Kip G. Kelso as temporary or acting health officer for Indian <br />River County, <br />Upon Motion of Commissioner Waddell_, seconded by Commissioner Batts and carried, <br />the Board authorized payment to Ylodtke Electric Company in the sum of $400.78, said amount <br />beincj due on the County Health Building. <br />Notary Public Bond for Stella Arendas in the sum of 1500.00 with Home Indemnity <br />Company as surety was approved by Douglas Baker, Clerk of the Circuit Court. <br />R <br />E S O L U T I O N -- Item to Item Transfers <br />Upon Motion of <br />Commissioner Watts, seconded by Commissioner Waddell <br />and carni -eco <br />the following Resolution was <br />unanimously ad -opted: <br />• <br />WH EREi.S, there <br />is a total surplus of $1,000.78 in the General Revenue <br />Fund of <br />Indian River County under some <br />items and which surplus exists after the payment of <br />all nec- <br />essary expenditures under such <br />items for the current fiscal year; and <br />WHERILAS, there <br />is a deficiency in funds necessary to provide for the <br />proper <br />and authorized expenditures under <br />some items in said General Revenue Fund; and <br />WHEREAS, said <br />items mentioned are a part of the same fund and the transfer <br />from one item to another item <br />in the same fund and is not a transfer from one fund <br />to another <br />fund; and therefore, <br />BE IT UESOLVED that there is herewith transferred the sum of $1,000.78 from <br />some items where there is a surplus to the items where there is a deficiency, according to <br />detailed statement attached, all in the General Revenue Fund of the current budget of Indian <br />River County, as provided by law. <br />
